Have visited Kuala Lumpur a few times before (in 2011 for the Formula 1 Grand Prix), this time I had chance to get the train not far out of town to the Batu Caves, north of the city.
The Batu Caves are one of the most popular Hindi temples outside of India, with the huge golden statue in front of the caves being Lord Murugan. After seeing this there was 272 steps to climb to see inside the cave where the main temple is and a prayer ceremony was being held, whilst my legs had a rest and got my breath back. Sadly my camera battery died on the day so just a few pictures.

Brill Tom, does it remind you of the caves of ham we saw in Majorca? ha ha, slightly different I suppose from these.
Sal tells me that you are getting a new camera so at least the battery will have back up with two cameras!
