After Seoul, I took the train across the country to Gyeongju.

There is alot of history around Gyeongju, this was once a capital city during the Silla Kingdom era, nearly 1000 years ago. So there are many temples and tombs around the parks of the city.

There is good public transport across South Korea, so it was easy to take local bus south from the city, and hike across this national park. The views from the peak were fantastic.

After the national park I took another bus heading east to the Bulguksa temple complex, which was very impressive.

It was a great contract to stay in Gyeongju, very different from Seoul and Busan, with alot of history.

The red and green of the Woljeonggyo Bridge looks great and is also lit up at night.
