Well it seems there is always something happening in the Mexico towns & cities I visit. In Morelia, which is in Michoacan state, all the christmas decorations and lights were up.

There was also a funfare and christmas market on in the evening as I walked around the city. Here is Morelia Cathedral behind this giant christmas tree.

The historical centre has numerous impressive buildings, including this aqueduct.

One church that looks rather simple on the outside is actually fantastically decorated on the inside. It is called the Santuario de Guadalupe.

Morelia had a few markets, including the Mercado de Dulces. Or sweet market, as there is a tradition of making sweets and candy in the city.
