Well I returned to Washington DC again this trip after a few days in NY, this time staying near Georgetown in the pleasant green neighbourhood of Glover Park.
So whilst it is close to the city, it feels much more less busy and it close to many green spaces and woods.
Georgetown is now historical part of Washington DC and was formed some 40 years prior to that of Washington DC. Its a good area to stroll the streets and see all the shops and old houses around the neighbourhood.I took in a couple of baseball games at Nationals Park, its a good modern stadium, with good views from all around.
So I sat in a few differnt spots to take in the baseball game, including above the homeplate here on level 2. Then also out across the field here in the sun. The baseball is a great way to take in the afternoon with some sun, seeing if any home runs get hit.
Lastly, I took this shot of the USA Capitol building as I walked past Capitol Hill.
