So my time to Vietnam came to an end by travelling down to Ho Chi Minh City. Its an expanse of modern metropolis these days, and it was great to see the contrasts between new and old. Some fantastic buildings in the city to see and photograph. Starting here with the first photo of the old central post office building, still in excellent condition. This is followed by the Notre Dame Cathedral against modern offices in the background. After this a night scape looking across the city from a trendy rooftop bar location. This rooftop bar I visited is called the Air 360 bar located near the down town backpacker area of the city, on Ky Con Street. I went early to take advantage of the happy hour prices for a beer and to see the sun set across the city.
Had some excellent Vietnamese food in my last few days. Including these colourful spring rolls with the rice rolls pigmented using different vegetables, they looked good and tasted good.
My final afternoon as I walked the streets I spotted the 3A alternative art area with impressive street art. If you have spare time it is definitely worth tracking down the interesting blocks around here and spotting the art . Vietnam has been a fascinating country and I hope to return soon, when you have time to travel next, will you consider Vietnam?

nevermind return, i would love to visit!
