After getting a boat back from the islands we had a few hours to wander round the town of Ranong, before taking a night bus up to Bangkok. After passing by the local markets and the high street we stumbled some locals playing Takraw.
Takraw is a sport played across Southeast Asia, also known as Sepak Takraw in Malaysia or Chin Lone in Burma. The game itself can be described as kick/foot volleyball, played using a rattan ball, players also use knees; chests or their heads to skilfully pass the ball and return it back over the net. It was a fascinating watch and got a few action shots.
