Ko Jum, Thailand

After flying into Kuala Lumpur from Saudi, I then flew up to Krabi, Thailand. Still alot of islands and places I would like to visit in Thailand, and this small island called Ko Jum was high on my list. Easy to get to as just half an hour from Krabi to a local village where the boats leave from, and within another half an hour or so you will reach this beautiful laidback little island.

I was staying around about the middle of the island, close to one of the villages with beaches nearby on either side. Ko Jum is not a large island, and can easily be explore by bicycle, or even on foot.

Aswell as the usual beachside restaurants and cafes, there is a good selection of local restaurants on food running along the main road of the island. Here was a red curry with roti, and a glass noodle salad, both freshly made and tasty.

I did hire a bicycle to explore around the island abit more, and over a few days I had crossed most of the island. I twas good fun exploring some of the quieter paths and tracks, and I found this pleasant scenic garden cafe with ponds for a cold drink.

After walking up the north half of the island and then coming back along the beaches, this was a good spot for lunch right on the beach. Ko Jum was well enjoyed and had a nice quiet vibe for a small island, will return again in the future.
