I arrived in Chiang rai yesterday, though had to wait an extra day to get a bus, due to it being busy over a Buddhist holiday. Sadly the weather in northern Thailand is not up to much, with a fair amount of drizzle and rain around.
Got out on a motorbike to visit what is know as ‘The White Temple’ or Wat Rong Khun, it is more of an random art exhibition in the style of a temple, with some bizarre sculptures and great details such as dragons and serpents.
