Well after doing some more of the Kumano Kodo route, I had stayed in Katsuura on the coast, however it was particularly rainy for the last day of walking. Katsuura is famous for its fishing and local tuna auction. This proved an interesting small town stop off. After this I head to the third city of Japan, Nagoya.

Nagoya was interesting to see for a day to break up the journey to Tokyo. Then onwards on the bullet train to Tokyo, which I previously visited in 2012.

This view looks at the Kaminarimon gate and the Sensō-ji temple, located in the Asakusa area of the city.

I walked alot around the different neighbourhoods of Tokyo, seeing book stores and temples.

Finally I went up the Tokyo Skytree observation tower, which has fantastic views out across the city. This was a good way to round out my trip over the past month, with time well spent in South Korea and Japan.
