After seeing the baseball in New York, I had time to go to a ice hockey game in Washington. It was only a preseason game, but still it was cool match to watch. Even though I was sat relatively higher up I still had a good view of the action.

There are many impressive buildings around the capital city randing from old to the very modern.

I took a walk past the White House. Washington is a very walkable city as I passed by the Washington Monument along the National Mall.

Washington is famous for the Smithsonian, museums, of which there are many. One of the most popular is the natural history museum, which featured in the fun film Night at the Museum.

The air and space museum was also very good, but unfortunately half of it was closed for renovation so I could not see about the moon landings, but did learn quite a bit about aeroplane travel.
